Maria Penttilä has extensive, diverse, and long-term experience in the legal field. During more than a decade of working in the legal field, Maria has gained a wealth of experience in several areas of commercial law. Maria has particularly strong expertise and experience in labour law.
Maria has strong experience in a wide range of labour law challenges, including various dispute and criminal proceedings, employee cooperation negotiations, harassment processes, termination of employment, retirement, and incentive schemes. Maria is chairman of the Finnish Bar Association’s Labour Law Expert Team.
In addition to labour law, Maria has been involved in a wide range of indemnity, contract and corporate disputes before the general court and the arbitral tribunal, as well as assisted companies in drafting various business contracts. Maria has attended the Arbitration Academy of the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce.
Maria is also active in training in the field of labour law.
