Hanna Lahti specialises in employment law and employment offences, areas in which she has worked since 2014.

Hanna advises clients on a broad range of employment law matters. She assists employers in matters including agreements relating to the lifecycle of the employment relationship, as well as employment law interpretations concerning issues such as annual leave, working time and cooperation procedures. Hanna also represents our clients in court proceedings in employment disputes concerning, for example, termination of employment, allegations of discrimination, pay claims and claims for damages.

Hanna assists employers and supervisors in occupational safety and health offence matters before authorities, in preliminary investigations and in court proceedings. She also acts as an external investigator and assists employers in various workplace investigations relating to occupational safety and health matters. In addition, she provides training to our clients on a wide range of employment law topics.

In addition, Hanna has expertise in and understanding of collective labour law, and she has been involved in negotiating both national and company-specific collective agreements in the forest industry. Hanna also assists our clients in interpretation disputes relating to collective agreements.

Prior to joining Roihu, Hanna worked at a law firm, where, in addition to employment law assignments, she also handled matters relating to corporate and contract law. Before that, she served as a labour market lawyer at an employers’ association. Hanna has also completed court training at the District Court of Central Finland.

Hanna is primarily based in our Tampere office.
