Tomi works mainly on employment law and data protection assignments.  Tomi has about 15 years of experience as an advocate in the Labour Court and the General Courts.

Tomi has a wide range of expertise in employment law assignments. He advises our clients on all aspects of the employment lifecycle, such as drafting employment and executive employment contracts, working hours and annual leave issues, assessing the impact of business changes on employees, change negotiations related to organisational changes and dealing with terminations of employment.

In addition to employment law, Tomi has extensive experience in collective agreements, related negotiation processes and handling disputes related to their interpretation. Tomi has been involved in the bargaining processes of numerous collective agreements, both national and company-specific.

In addition, Tomi has assisted clients in a number of domestic and cross-border employment-related transactions. Tomi also has experience in addressing data protection issues in general and data privacy issues in particular in the workplace.

In addition to his career as an attorney-at-law, Tomi has worked for many years as a labour market lawyer and corporate lawyer. This experience gives him an excellent understanding of the practical challenges our clients face and enables him to provide solution-oriented and opinionated advice on even the most challenging issues. Tomi’s pragmatic, efficient and straightforward approach has been praised by numerous clients.

Tomi also participates in the Helsinki Bar Association under the Finnish Bar Association as a member of its board.
